As the parent or legal guardian of the child to which this registration relates, I hereby:
1. Authorize him or her to participate in the Vancouver Warriors Winter Camp at Rogers Arena and/or Langley Events Centre (the “Program”). I unconditionally and irrevocably release and discharge Vancouver Arena Limited Partnership dba Rogers Arena, Langley Events Centre, the Township of Langley, Aquilini Vancouver Lacrosse Limited Partnership and all of its affiliates, and all of their respective partners, directors, officers, employees, representatives and volunteers (collectively, the “Released Parties”), without reservation or restriction, from any and all injuries, losses or damages that may arise directly or indirectly in the course of my child’s participation in the Program. This specifically includes, without limitation, any illness or other loss arising, directly or indirectly, from any contact between my child and any person(s) that may have been exposed to, or infected by, the coronavirus (COVID-19) or other virus or infectious disease. I waive any right to take any legal action against any of the Released Parties in relation to any such injury, loss or damage. I consent to my child receiving medical treatment by duly qualified personnel as required.
2. Grant to the Released Parties the right to photograph or record my child’s participation in all Program activities and the right, without any compensation, to reproduce, use, exhibit, display, broadcast, distribute and create derivative works of such photographed and/or recorded images in connection with the marketing and promotional activities of the Released Parties. This grant includes, without limitation, the right to publish such images on the websites of the Released Parties, and/or in advertising, social media, press releases and any other publications of the Released Parties, by way of any media format now or hereafter created.
3. Acknowledge that Program times and locations are subject to change. I understand that it is the intention to complete the Program as scheduled. However, if Public Health Orders from any or all of the Government of Canada, the Province of B.C., the Township of Langley or Ten Foot Sports and Entertainment (Langley Events Centre) prevent the completion of these camps in a reasonable period of time, a refund or credit will be issued. A reasonable period of time for the Winter Camp (December 2024) to be complete by is deemed to be no later than January 31, 2025.
